Now available on the apple store, this beautifully crafted app allows users to navigate a vast collection of videos by the master of ballet, Venti Petrov.  In addition this app comes complete with a music player and a full selection of musical pieces for each of the ballet lessons.  Great for teacher and student alike, the music player features a delayed start so you can be ready when the music begins!

Maya LT incorporates Viewport 2.0 and allows artists to view their models in realtime with full hardware shading.  Here is a low poly sword I am working on for a tutorial on how to use Maya LT to create great looking assets for games.  In this specific case, a sword for the ever popular Dota 2 workshop.

Here is a work in progress for an upcomming shooter game I am hoping to complete this year.  It will be my first attempt at a commercial product of my own design.  Starting with a solid base, I am working towards a massively expanded version of the Atari classic "Astrosmash".  Complete with super cool 3D graphics, modernized game-play and an array of new weapons and enemies this classic remake should be an incredibly fun blast to the past.  Here is a sneak peak at the ship as it is being built.

Recently I was invited to take part in demo'ing Maya LT.  I had always wanted to learn maya but as a guy on a budget, Maya was just a little too far out of reach.  Now however Maya has a little baby brother.  All the punch and power of Maya but streamlined down to the tools most independent developers (like myself) and even casual modelers long for.

Sometimes, you simply need everything to succeed. This was the case for a unique bicycle company located in California by the name of Orange 20 Bikes. With their high paced ever changing content as a news site for the local area regarding the bicycle community this site needed a simple intuitive way to have multiple bloggers, administrators and external personnel edit and manage their content. In addition, it needed a way to sell products online through an eCommerce store... that keeps up to date and in synch with its Quick Books point of sale system. Lastly the website needed to have the ability to host a large array of smaller subsystems to help streamline their business such as a rubust form, user forums for registered members, a membership system, help desk, and various other communication tools.

Honored and excited, I was recently asked to develop a large number of assets for an up & comming title for the iOS and android markets. Mobile game asset creation is a special breed of 3D content development, dealing with the constraints of low processing power, low memory and other challenges. By creating assets with exceptionally low poly counts, high impact textures and minimal texture operations made it possible for this up-comming UDK based action game to keep graphics rich and exciting with over 40 background assets, several "bosses" and a plethora of flying bases all while running smoothly on the most dated of smart-phones. More news to come upon release... for now, the teaser graphics below will have to do.
